Startup auto-ingest warms Climate Watch + fiscal when AUTO_INGEST_WARM_CACHES=1 (default). Set AUTO_INGEST_NETWORK=1 for heavy density on boot, or use Density / Fetch wave here. AUTO_INGEST_WAVE_ON_STARTUP=1 runs one full gap-fill on boot (slow). Full pipeline re-pulls free trade for 2021–2023 via WITS → WB merchandise → IMF DOTS (no Comtrade). Missing years stay empty. Trade parquet imports a local file only (DECARB columns or CEPII BACI t,i,j,k,v). Place it under data/parquet/ (or baci*.parquet) or set TRADE_PARQUET_PATH. Optional country_codes.csv beside the parquet maps BACI numeric codes. Admin never downloads BACI archives or invents HS rows. Product UI never exposes raw CLI.
